Wall clock
I willingly bought this wall clock certain I would never use, need or want it. You can’t even call it “buyer’s remorse” because I was anticipating my regret for this purchase well before I had even reached for my wallet. But for two dollars at an Umbra clearance sale—this purchase was inevitable.
And there’s more. This clock came with stack of Post-It notes the exact same size and colour as this clock. In theory, the combination of the clock and Post-Its unlock a realm of creative possibility. In theory.
What is entailed exactly by these “creative possibilities” I don’t know and don’t care. What I do know is that I have never referred to this object for the time.
I want my two dollars back.
