Money Box

Inventory

If it wasn’t obvious, I got this from my parents for my birthday. This handmade box is exactly the length and width of Canadian currency and that’s precisely what it contained. The specificity of this box’s purpose is quite astounding. Consider that it would take years before I could reuse an object like this, and even then I would have to make a series of critically important life decisions along the way.

Also: this is basically just a glorified envelope. My parents could have just handed me a wadded up hundo and called it a day, but when you’re giving someone a gift so easily consumed and disremembered, the wrapping is everything.
