This highly detailed simian sculpture is both a pencil eraser and a commentary on biodiversity. As you pass time erasing graphite, you experience the disappearance of gorillas on both a literal and symbolic level. A clever way to convey the issues involved with endangered species, I guess. Also, it’s a badass-looking gorilla.
